Bad Service, Overpriced, Underhanded Hidden Costs and Hygiene Questionable

Disliked · The service overall service was shocking; The Clubhouse had no alcohol (mist of which is required in ****tails) with a simple cappuccino made from the restaurant and received ice cold. The 6th floor had a funky smell (cat pee sour), people were smoking in their rooms. A service charge was app**** for kitchen equipment required in-room dining; the dishes were not collected and simply washed and left all over the apartment.

The upgrade requested was 60% more than agreed with the upgrade not including breakfast nor dinner. A cancellation and rebooking would have yielded a cheaper price over with food. The hotel is overpriced in all aspects, and we checked out after one night and move to The Capital Hotel (Empire") that offered us rooms R750 a night cheaper with most rooms being of Suite size. An upgrade to a full apartment of 100sqm cost only R200 to upgrade.

As a business travel, we will never use this hotel again and nor endorse this place for any of clients and associates.
