Dont Buy ASUS Items!

I purchased my Asus Republic of Gamers laptop from Frontosa Johannesburg in 2016, for three times as much as any sane person would pay for a normal laptop as it is Asus's premium brand,

The laptop had display issues and battery issues among a plethora or other irritations which I gritted my teeth and dealth with as I really needed my laptop for work purposes. eventually in December, the laptop refused to turn on and I contacted frontotsa, they said that if I were to send the laptop in in December, the repair centre would keep it until January on a shelf until they could look into the issue. I Decided, because I did not trust my laptop "sitting on a shelf" for a month or 2, to keep the laptop with me and take it in in January 2017, which I did, They kept the laptop for close to 2 months, with me calling them every day, eventually they said the laptop was ready for collection.

I collected the laptop and immediately noticed that the keyboard back light was not working, which is very important for me, I informed them via email and no one responded, I informed frontosa once more in March 2017, and still nothing.

I called Frontosa in the beginning of April to speak to someone and I was told that it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. they advised I Contact Ensure IT services who had repaired the unit, by installing a new motherboard.

I contacted Ensure who dropped the call me multiple times, and eventually was put through to a lady who said she would call me back, she did not. I called them every day that week and no one answered the phone. I emailed them and same no response.

My gripe is that the unit was in for repairs whilst the warranty was expiring, I had no use of it for almost 4 months and then I was given a faulty Laptop back, a laptop which I initially paid over R20 000 for. This is utterly ridiculous and I demand a repair.
