Medical Aid new application

*********** ************* Appalling service Poor service I had a medical aid with Medshield which I chose to for go because at work they were now offering a benefit of a medical aid. We given 2 companies to choose from Discovery or Bonitas. ASI was the broker chosen to facilitate the medical aid process. 1.end of July I called Medshield advising them of move. 2. Medical shield on the 1August sent certificate of termination 3. 2August sent my application to the ASI broker 4.there was no acknowledgement until I sent a what’s up message on 12August and asked me who am I and what company do I work for I gave her the details. 5.she promised that Monday someone will get back to me 6. On the 14thAugust An employee from ASi called me and said my file just reached his desk he will assist me. 7.he asked me to fill in missing gaps on the form I did as per request and sent it back to him 8.he confirmed receipt of email. 9.I send another email to the asi broker on the 28th august asking what is happening 10. Forwarded my email to her colleague 11. Colleague impromptu response “application is on the final stages there is a membership number I should get everything tomorrow. 12. On the 31st August I did another follow up to the main broker and the other two colleagues no response 13. On the 1st September I sent another email no response. 14. This means I don’t have a medical aid and the broker is 15. My daughter calls me and says her sister is sick”Murphy’slaw”. 16. I’m typing this distasteful email from a hurting and disappointment position and I decided to call the Bonitas call center I give them my details and to my surprise I don’t appear in their system 17. Eventually after I have been blasting her phone eventually the asi broker responds who am I again and what company I work for. 18. Im asking there broker where is the membership nbr 19. I have followed the rules to the T and terminated my previous membership knowing that I am joining a new medical aid today is the 2September 2023 20. Me and children we are not covered and no one is taking responsibility
