This hospital should close

It is with great disgust that I am writing to you again about another horrific event that happened at Arwyp.

My mother was admitted to your hospital on the 14 September. We went to Mediclinic for our doctor to say she has acute pyelonephritis. Due to medical aid reasons we had to see the urologist first before admission. We went to Dr O Adebisi the same day. He did not do any tests to confirm the diagnosis, just took our doctors word that it was. He admitted my mom and said she would be out in 5 days after being on Intravenous antibiotics. On Thursday when I went to visit she was still in horrific pain and was puking dark dark green black vomit. Luckily I was there to see this. I called the nurse and asked why is it this colour, with no medical background I could tell something was wrong but not even your medical staff could...... DISGUSTING!!!!! They said "eh I don't know". They called Dr Adebisi and he also said he isn't sure it could be an ulcer, the medication or he is not sure. He sent mom for an abdominal xray and did nothing further. Friday I asked if the doctor had done anymore tests to be told no. She was still in pain and puking, and now her stomach was extremely swollen. I asked if he could possibly do more tests because she is way worse. Nothing was said.

And to my utmost disgust the nurses tell me that Dr Adebisi signed her out to be discharged on Sunday, on the Saturday already because he wanted to go spend time with family. Absolutely disgusting and he does not care. He should NOT be a doctor with this kind of professionalism. Sunday morning my mom was still puking and in even worse pain. I called the nurses to ask if Dr can see her. They said maybe she just needs rest?????????? What the hell...... Did your nurses even study medicine???????

It was afternoon and I had it. Dr was not coming and I finally went to fetch my mom to get her out of your disgusting hospital....... She puked multiple times, still black, her pain was excruciating and stomach extremely swollen. Again, my non-medical brain told me there is something wrong. I rushed her to Linksfield hospital, an outstanding medical facility. They did bloods, picked up something straight away and guess what? Sent her for an EMERGENCY CT scan. She had a bowel obstruction. They needed to do AN EMERGENCY BOWEL OPERATION. The Dr that operated said that her bowel had 4L of liquid inside, her bowel was extremely damaged, a part of her bowel had died and guess what, if left 1 more day it would have burst because of your Doctors and nurses negligence.

Your medical team sent my mom home to die. I will never refer anyone to your hospital.

Thank you for discharging her so that I was able to save her life................
