Service from HELL at Arwyp Hospital
On the 09th December 2017, my son was admitted at Arwyp Hospital. He was then taken to the paediatric Ward 9th floor. We got allocated a small crammed room, next to the store room where they keep cleaning material. My son had Bronchitis and was very restless he couldn't sleep. On the 11th Dec the cleaner made such a noise my son woke up from it, I enquired from the nurse why such a noise and I got such a bad attitude from the cleaner and the nurse for asking. I didn't even get an apology from the cleaner. During our stay I decided to do my son's formula milk myself, because I felt the bottles they were providing were not to my standard (too much water and little formula) anyways the nurses become very rude and sarcastic that I chose to make my own bottles for my son. I was never introduced to the floor Manager in case I had a complaint, only when I went to the information desk that's when I was taken seriously. I have never had a pleasant stay at Arwyp NEVER.

Dear Mrs Tshabalala, we apologize that we have no met your expectations however I believe Ms Price our Liaison manager and the Unit manager, Sr Botha did come and see you and assisted in accommodating you in an alternative room so that your stay with your son could be better. The concerns you raised were addressed and resolved with the assistance of our Facilities executive and our cleaner, Daniel also apologised for creating the noise that disrupted your son. We only strive to assist and make our patients stay the best we can. We do have your contact number and will ask our Manager to call you as soon as possible to address what we haven't .
