No value proposition -best effort management

I had a horrible horrible experience. This is the only time in my life that I have paid so much to be abused. No member of my family will ever set foot in the hospital again.I vote with my feet.I complicated right under the noses of near robotic uninspired nursing staff.I stood for my rights and demanded intervention from management because from my perspective I was their employer.I was moved from ward 11 to High Care where I had treatment.I had harrowing experience fighting for my life unnecessarily..I was sick but could never lie down to concentrate on recovery but instead strained my layman capacity to understand my treatment-that is how low my perseption and regard of nursing capacity and capability were. There is no deliberate organization culture driven value proposition leading to huge variance among nursing staff competence.Supervisory oversight varies terribly between teams showing no structured training and business concept.I sensed the huge variance is due to imported nursing staff from other hospital who come with service oriented delivery that are not inherent in ARWYP culture. In these imported cultures you also find typical government type culture.I never saw ARWYP's own service concept if there is any. I left after 21 days of consistent torture not wanting to have anything to do with this hospital. So many things were apparent customers sent for wrong procedures -unthinkable for a private hospital that stands in Kempton Park imposing its greatness.

Then came the pathetic text book cover management intervention. So unprofessional was the intervention and damage control I wanted to puke(all pun intended). It dawned on me then. That was were direction is lost-administration capacity.I will not be surprised if the management if full of people who rose through the ranks who have nothing else to offer except maintain the status quo. This is the reason why I refused to cooperate with nurse names because I tie this inefficiency squarely on this tired team of managers who are pushing time to preserve their pensions!!!!That tiredness nearly cost my life. The hospital has to inject new executive blood to get on top again. They have the technology but they have such pathetic management culture. They have a far much easier task than other hospitals but not with this blind folded management team. The blind are leading the blind. If they had enough controls and capable supervision nurses would not make the mistakes they do in two ways:mediocre workers would not be employed with a strong recruitment process and two with rigid procedures that are observed and controlled a minimum level of service could be guaranteed. That brings another point where is quality control in nursing staff labour brokering???No wonder why there is no value proposition and different perception of service. That is why the imbecile management go on witch hunt everytime a complaint comes. That is why I did not cooperate with them because they are pathetic.

The doctors were excellent but they are only with patients for a few minutes a day.Because of the business arrangement they cannot challenge these inefficiencies without compromising their own practices. This pathetic service is what they have and is not going anyway soon. They are business people too and I did not involve them in the whole saga.

Suffice to mention that the nurses and their families cannot even afford medication at the hospital. If you think this is congecture make a survey.Labour brokering is the root of the problem at this death hole.

If this hospital is my only choice and I am dying then by all means it is time to write Time of Death!!!!?

I vote with my feet.

Yours

Very very disappointed
