NO CONSIDERATION FOR ELDERLY PATIENTS

My 78 year old Mother was admitted into Arwyp Clinic on the 7/1/2016 with kidney failure. Drs attended to her however family were never provided feedback. She was discharged without even a phone call to pick her up And no report for the Retirement Home was provided. At the costbof another R600 consultation I saw Dr Rekviashvili who advised that she needs to see a Specialist Physician at Glynwood. Discovery require a referral letter beFore they will authorise and despite my numerous pleas for a referral letter the Dr refuses to provide one and advises he has sent the file to the dr at Glynwood and he is not prepared to provide this letter to Discovery.my previous interactions with Arwyp have been good and I am hoping that they can assist with this uncoperative Dr that has no compassion now that there is no benefit in for him.<br>
