NIGHMARE AT ARWYP

So here is a quick summary of my Horrible experience at Arwyp. Do yourself a favour and NEVER GO THERE!!!!!! 1. arrived at casualty Weds night with excruciating pain and told the Dr I couldn't lie down or breathe properly due to pain in my back. 2. took urine and bloods and did covid test and was put on a drip for pain. 3. told to be there for a scan for possible kidney stones at 11 and sent home with meds. 4. Did not sleep due to pain. 5. went for scan at 11 next morning and was sent back to casualty and told to wait in cubicle where another Dr told me scan was fine and I could go home. 6. Told Dr I will not go home because of pain and I wanted to know what was wrong. Told to go for XRAY but first fill out forms again. 7. In so much pain, refused to fill out forms and sent to xray. (was in so much pain found it difficult to walk / breathe and was extremely tired.) 8. went for xray, was told to go back to casualty. rested a bit and went back and sat in cubicle. Dr came back and put me on ECG and was told I have Pneumonia and will be admitted. waiting for Covid test. 9. Waited hours with no meds because of waiting for covid test 10. lady came and asked me to sign forms, still no meds and waiting for covid test apparently. 11. at 16h00 was eventually walked to ward to await covid test results, still no meds nothing. 12. sat and waited till 18h00 when the test came back negative, no meds nothing and went up to 11th floor. 13. 19h30 had a drip put in and meds. Slept well Thurs night. 14. Friday - asked sister if I can go shower, to unhook the drip. Told her I would call her when im done to hook me back up. she told me no not to worry they will do it later. 15. By 1 o clock asked for pain meds as I was sore. nothing Asked again at 2 for pain meds, nothing. Asked again and eventually a sister came in to give me meds but the drip was blocked (told you so) After 3 botched attempts and intense pain trying to put a drip in she gave up and left it for the night staff. I had no meds from 06h00 for the whole day up until the night staff arrived 19H30. My whole experience was a nightmare I would not recommend a stay at this hospital AT ALL!
