Maternity Nightmare

I Am Admitted Into The Maternity Ward In Arwyp And I’ve Been Here For Over A Week... On Monday The 15th Of July, Around 5am, I Rang The Buzzer To Ask For Assistance From The Nurse. A Lady Named Margret Comes And I Tell Her My Dressing On The Drip Is Wet And Needs Changing. She Boldly Says: I’ll Stop It And The Day Shift Coming In Now Will Change It! I Tell Her The Hand Is Itchy, Wet And Uncomfortable. She Brings Me Paper Towels To Wipe The Liquid. I Say To Her They’re Coming In At 07:00 Do I Wait Until Then? She Says Yes And Walks Away! I Later Call One Of The Nurses On Day Shift And They Change The Dressing Which Didn’t Take Longer Than 4min. The Drip Continues To Leak And Wets The Dressing So Around 18:45 I Call Again To Have The Dressing Changed. The Sister Who Helps Me (Cecilia) Tells Me I Will Have To Wait For The Night Shift They’re Starting Now At 19:00. I Again Explain How Itchy The Hand Is And That It’s Not Fair Or Right That I Should Wait For Another Shift For Something That Doesn’t Take Long! She Argues: They’re Here Now, They’ll Help You! This Shifting Of Responsibility From One Nurse To The Other Is Disgusting To See! The Nature Of My Being Here Means I’ll Be Here A Bit Longer Than Anticipated. Which is Why It Is A Concern That I Am Gonna Be Treated Like This For A Long Time! Moreover, Why Do People Report For Duty When They’re Not Willing To Do Their Jobs?! Bad Service In A Hospital?! Life Risking!
