Arwyp Medical Centre management felt aggrieved by a review posted on 6 February 2020 with the same title as this one because it puts them in a bad light. Because you see - they are just the facility. The doctors are not employed by them and they (Arwyp) are not responsible or accountable for the doctors' unprofessionalism, mistakes, poor communication, ignorance, negligence and incompetence. I reject this argument. The medical industry in South Africa is designed to be so convoluted that it is virtually impossible to establish responsibility and accountability when it comes to medical malpractice. However this convoluted business model works wonderfully well for Arwyp and their doctors. Not so good for the patient who had a bad experience. So Arwyp and their doctors will never see me again, and I suggest that anyone for whom Arwyp is an option, reconsider their options.
