Horrible hospital service

My mother was referred to the hospital by her doctor for medical testing and was told it would take 3 days. She ended up staying 8 days. There would be days where the doctor would not even come to see her. They conducted tests on her but failed to discuss her results with her. On the day she was to be discharged the doctor never came again. She was meant to be discharged at 12pm but none of her documents had been prepared. No discharge letter, no sick note, no prescription. Nothing. We were then told that she would have to go see the doctor downstairs and that it would take an hour or more to prepare her prescription. Mind you that nurse Jolene knew the whole time that she was being discharged that day and that she would be travelling far. We only got to leave the hospital after 5 with no medication. We were told that if we cannot wait then we must fetch the meds at the nearest pharmacy.

I strongly recommend that you do not take any of your loved ones to that hospital. They simply do not care about the well being of their patients.
