Casualty's indifferent and nonchalant approach!

Sunday 3 Dec my mother was rushed to ARWYP with a series of symptoms inc. dizziness, extreme and sudden nausea, disorientation & confusion, inability to talk.<br> <br> Despite us telling the doctors what was eaten and that she has had several light strokes in the last year, and was admitted on NYE, they felt that the best course of action was....to take blood tests!<br> BLOOD TESTS!<br> <br> After waiting close to 2 hrs, in which my mother was letting out screams, whimpers, having shivering fits, getting sick and feeling generally disoriented, the news was that she is actually quite well, tests said nothing and that she is simply a little anemic! She was kept for observation. <br> <br> Today the neurologist confirmed that my mother had a massive stroke and that she could well have died!<br> What kind of doctors does ARWYP employ that cannot even recognise the basic signs of a stoke in a patient who has a history of strokes?! a simple google search revealed the exact symptoms I listed above!<br> <br> Clearly having the monopoly on Kempton, ARWYP seem to think that they can dismiss clients with whatever service and attitude suits them at the time whilst playing God with patients lives! <br> <br> Hippocratic Oath my ass!
