Arwyp Billing Errors

<p>In July we brought our Son for removal of Adenoides and for Grommets to be inserted.</p> <p>We obtained the treatment codes and the authorisation from discovery was received and a co-payment of R2800 was noted.</p> <p>The procedure was done as planned</p> <p>We then receive the bill from Arwyp and a Nasal Edoscopy has been added to the bill, we spoke to the doctor and Discovery and this procedure code should never have been added. Becuase of this Nasal Edoscopy the co-payment increased to R6750. So now Arwyp are expecting us to pay R3950 out of our own pocket because of their error.</p> <p>I have spoken to the doctor who performed the surgery and the case manager at Discovery and both agree the edoscopy should never have been included.</p> <p>I have called a Arwyp number of times and every time I get told that yes I am correct and they will fix the error only to received another payment request for the same R3950.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
