DO NOT BUY FROM ARTISAN FURNITURE WAREHOUSE. Not only was there loose stitching and staples in the chair I purchased; one of the parts was so malformed that i am unable even attach the footrest. They promised to post me a replacement part and have been ghosting me ever since. It's been a month now. Messages read but unanswered. Phone calls ignored. Promises broken. Avoid at all costs.

I bought 1x flower shelf in December. I then ordered 3 more of the exact same kind to make a matching set of 4. At the time I paid, their website still showed the same model. What was shown on the website is not what I received. They delivered 3x different shelves that do not match my December shelf. After I reported it, I was told to expect someone on Monday with the correct 3 shelves. I waited 4 business days. No one came. Only when I called on Tuesday was I told the model from December has been discontinued, which is why I was sent 3 different ones. I was told a manager would contact me the next morning to arrange a discount on a 4th shelf so I could replace my original December shelf that now doesn't match the 3 new ones I was given. No manager ever called. I only received a R50 coupon code, which does not even cover the delivery fee for a 4th shelf to try and make the set match. I have decided to keep the 3 new ones and move my original December shelf to another room because I needed the storage, but I want to warn other customers to check stock before ordering a matching set. Their site showed a model that was already discontinued. In my view this appears to breach the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008: Sec 19(8) - Delivered goods of a different description than ordered Sec 19(2)(a)(iii) & (c) - Delivery must be at supplier's cost and risk remains with supplier until accepted Sec 47(2) - Accepted payment when there was no reasonable basis to supply the ordered model Sec 47(3)(a) & (b) - When they cannot supply due to stock, must refund with prescribed interest and compensate for incidental costs like delivery, not a coupon Sec 47(6) - Failure to manage stock / discontinuing after payment is not beyond supplier's control

I bought a 2-stand combination, that has power outlets, to install behind my recliner couches in the lounge. I bought them, especially because it will bring power close to my couches, so my wife and I can charge our electronic devices, while we are still using them, but there are flaws in these stands. 1) The mounting brackets of one stand's stabilizing bar, that is fitted between the legs, have been welded on skew - not aligning with the position on the leg where it is fastened onto. At this stage, I do not see how this can be fixed. 2) The holes that were cut in the top where the power box slides into, is to large. The results in not having enough wood, to turn the *****s in to, that fasten the power boxes to the top. I am sure that something can be done, to remedy the situation, like adding a lining to the inside of the holes, to make the holes just that little bit smaller/shorter. 3) The veneer strip that have been glued to the edges of the tops, are off on both the tops. All that has to be done to fix this, is to glue the strips back in position. The idea of these stands and the purpose it was designed for, is great, but the quality of the designs and the manufacturing, are very poor. When I saw the above-mentioned flaws after assembling the first stand, I sent an email to Artisan Furniture and included pictures I have taken of these flaws. Someone called me soon afterwards, but no remedy was given to me. I have been waiting for them to get back to me ever since, but to date, nobody did.
