Travelling money that is not refunded by APM

I have booked APM Bus from Cape Town to Johannesburg on 25/04/2018. On 24/04/2018 I received message from APM Bus saying that there won't be any bus travelling to Johannesburg since there is National Strike. They sent another message telling me that I will receive a voucher to travel within two months. I called the in the phone call I was told that I won't receive any money its their terms and conditions. I should give the voucher to my colleagues or friends. I am very disappointed at the company. They should be refunding me back the money because I took someone's money to pay the taxi. I will no longer use their bus or even recommend my friends and family to do business with them.
