Disgusting service and disregard for people's lives

I have been sitting for more than 5 hours in a bus with failing brakes on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. This bus came from Mthatha going to Johannesburg.

We were told that there is a bus coming to pick us up from Pietermaritzburg, but there is no such bus coming. This company has a complete disregard for our lives. We have no guarantee that anyone is coming to get us and some of us have to be getting to work, you are placing our livelihoods at risk.

This is appalling service and I would never advise anyone to use this bus ever again. Such busses need to be reviewed by the Ombudsman or some regulatory authority, people cannot be treated like this for a service they are paying for.
