APM Give Me My Money Back.

I booked 2 return bus tickets for me and my brother (from Johannesburg to king Williams town & back) last week at checkers meadowdale mall. the night before our travel date we received smses stating that due to the bus strike APM services had been suspended indefinitely. I called them the next day to find out if I could get my money back so I could make alternative arrangements to travel as we were going to my grandmother's funeral. I was told that I would only be able to get my refund once the bus strike was over. I made other arrangements to travel hoping I would eventually get my refund. Now I receive an sms again from APM telling me they are giving us travel vouchers that are valid for 2 months. I will not be travelling to the eastern cape anytime soon, I want my money back and I'm being told there is nothing they can do it is their terms and conditions. I didn't use a voucher to buy those tickets and I'm not expecting one in return. I need my money back. I had to borrow money so I could go and bury my grandmother thinking I would pay it back with the refund I would received from APM now they tell me about a voucher?? since I know I will not be travelling any time soon(especially not by bus) does this mean I lose my hard earned money just like that?
