APM BUS REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY

I booked tickets to depart on the 25th of April 2018 for the long weekend I was going home for long weekend.

Unfortunately the bus strike then started taking place and had not concluded by the time I was supposed to travel and I was forced to make alternative means to get to my destination as everything else was booked and could not be cancelled. I only found out at Park station that APM Bus is not in service, no communication was communicated to me.

What brings me here and made me write this review is the fact that: 1. I had to spend on transport again as there was obviously no way APM Bus could travel to Tsolo while the strike was going and therefore we had to find our own way to Tsolo of which I was only advised to source alternative transport on the same day I was meant to leave.

2. On the same day I went to APM Bus terminals at Park Station to find out when I will be able to get a refund and one of their staff members advised that, I must send a mail to their call centre, I sent a mail. Call centre rep**** that when I want to travel, a voucher will be created for me.

3. Today (07/08/18), I went to ask if they can create a voucher for me as I want to travel now, They telling me the voucher was valid for 2 month which was not communicated with me and terms and conditions says 3 years.

The strike is not our fault or problem as customers and APM Bus should not at any stage attempt to make it ours.

There is nowhere on their tickets where they state that tickets are non-refundable should there be strike action, therefore we want our money back as we were paying to be transported to Tsolo and they failed to take us there and on top of that we had to spend more money to source alternative transport.

Can I get my money, or its gonna get dirty, which you will loose more than R330.
