Poor maintenance and tenant communication

I have been a resident at Savannah Park in Umhlanga Ridge for over a year now.

I am completely dissatisfied with the way in which the agents have been addressing me. The maintenance repairs at this complex are absolutely pathetic and they will never admit when they are wrong.

Why take my money every month if you cannot do your job and fix what needs to be fixed? Water enters through my closed windows when it rains , my bedroom curtains are rotten as a result. My towel railings have been lying on the bathroom floor since last year. The cracks in my shower are getting worse, more water escapes onto the floor and my bathroom mat is now rotting.

I have made an appointment with the maintenance operator for the first week of March because of my bathroom lights not working. This was extremely uncomfortable, as I do not have windows in my bathroom.

The agents only contact you when it is close to time to renew your lease. On top of that, they blame you for repairs not being done. How can I be disrespected like this? I pay my rent on time every month but nothing gets fixed? This is not okay. I deserve to be treated with respect. I pay hard earned money to live here, Apartment Box is not allowing me to live here for free. So why cant these agents treat us like people? Admit that there were errors on your part and make a concerted effort to resolve it.

Do not be childish and blame the tenant. It is not my job to hunt down maintenance operators. I simply pay the rent, I have sent through my queries on the app from last year... with photos because photos apparently speed up the maintenance process.

This has proven to be ineffective. I have a right to be treated with respect. I am a human being. Please do your job and stop taking money without doing our repairs. How can I have an appointment from the beginning of March that was not honored? I have the emails as proof.

Extremely disgusted with this company and the way in which tenants are treated. Be decent human beings and admit when you have faulted.
