The same cover is actually not the same.
In August this year I received notification from Aon that my motorcycle insurance policy was going to be changed, I asked for a copy of the policy document and two days later I am informed that I have given them consent to change my policy on the 1st October 2017, the cheek was that I had not given them consent but had asked for a copy of the policy document. I was then informed by a consultant that the cover was the same and in some instances a better insurance product, I wanted confirmation that the policy would cover damage incurred at track days. Since August until the 20th September I have frequently asked for a copy of the policy document so that I could check but to no avail, on the 20th September I receive my new policy and discover that they will no longer cover track days, so with 6 working days before this policy comes into effect I am informed that the cover is actually not the same and will cost more. I believe that this was done in this manner to coerce policy holders to just migrate as there is so little time to go into the market and see what other products are available. I will not continue with this policy in any form or manner as this type of behaviour from a service provider is disgusting.
