Incensed Claimant
In June 2015 I hit a pothole and my car tyres and rims were damages. I lodged a claim with JRA and on 16 November 2015 they advised me that the matter is being dealt with by AON and Refilwe Seefane is handling my claim.
It took several calls and e-mails before Ms Seefane could revert to me.
On 2nd December she eventually sent me an e-mail apologising for the delay and advised that she has appointed an assessor to conduct a desktop assessment to verify the quantum.
On 7th December I hand-delivered a Letter of Demand to AON. As expected, Ms Seefane never responded..
On 14 Dec, I called and I was advised by Daphney that they have received the assessor's response and said Ms Seefane will revert to me.
On 17 December, I contacted Aon's clients' service dept. I spoke to a gentleman who advised me to send a formal letter of complaint. I did so on the same day and e-mailed it to: [Email Removed] To date, no response has been forthcoming.
Quite clearly, AON has no interest in customer service excellence. Their nonchalant, apathetic attitude towards clients is quite scary. I'm out of my depth!
