I Was Retrenched In December Due To COVID 19 Affecting The Airline Industry. And My Former Employer Said They'll Pay My Medical Aid Till 31st Jan 2021. I Called Chantel Fritz From AON To Have Her Help Me Move To Private Capacity And She Sent Me The Form Via Email.

Besides Her Asking Me For The Form To Be Sent Again, I Got No Comms From Her. In The Early Hours Of The Morning On Tuesday, I Get An Email Saying My Medical Aid Has Been Deactivated.

I Called The Medical Aid In A Haste And Get Help From Two Ladies Who Bent Backwards To Ensure It Is Reinstated.

After Having Tried All They Could, Considering The Time, I Was Told It Can Be Done By Start Of Business Wednesday Morning.

My Daughter Was Due In Theater At 06:00 To Be Examined And Operated By Dr. Makepeace. I Had To Cancel That With The Doctor And Ask For A New Date.

When I Spoke To Thando From Discovery, She Told Me The Form Chantel Sent Me Was 2020's Form And That's Why It Wasn't Processed.

The Incompetence Of This Woman Has Cost Me Another Week Or So Of Waiting For A Date (A Lifetime Taking Into Account My Daughter Has Had A Trachea For Over A Year And This Is My Chance To Have It Removed)

I Will Not Rest Until AON Addresses This Matter And Resolves It. I Have Been With Discovery For 4 Years And Have Worked Closely With AON Thoughout That Period. I Have Never Come Across Anyone So Irresponsible And *********** As Chantel Fritz.

I Have Call Logs And Emails As Proof Of ME Having To Probe And Ask Her Why The Process Isn't Finalized. And Not Once Did It Occur To Her That She Has The Incorrect Forms. Not Once Did It Matter Enough To Her To Respond Promptly To My Comms.

I Need Answers From AON And Chantel Fritz And I Need Solutions.

I Have Already Exhausted The One Of Two COCID 19 Tests In Preparation Of Theatre (One Of Two Tests Discovery Gives For Free And AON And Chantel Fritz Will Ensure I Am Reimbursed) My Daughter Can't Go In For The Procedure And I Am Without Medical Aid Because Of Chantel Fritz And AON.
