AON want to repair items damaged by their partners Biddulph International eventhough items are new and was caused by Biddulph

So we recently used Biddulphs International To move from KZN to Johannesburg,we took out cover from Biddulphs International who use AON.Our items were damaged by Biddulphs and most of these items were purchased recently and were in excellent condition.Fridge, freezer, washing machine, dish washer, bin, couch, bed, shelves, hifi speaker, pedestals and chest of drawers.A claim was submitted with AON and now the consultant from AON Yolandi now states that some items will be repaired by their SP.Now insurance is meant to put you back in the position you were before,so before I had brand new items now I will have items repaired and may give me more problems...how can you interfere with electrical appliances, couch has water damage obviously wood inside will rot by AON just want to have their own way and talk about terms and conditions,I have informed Yolandi that I will not accept having my items repaired and will take this matter to the OSTI.This company is certainly not fair now Yolandi is asking me to send receipts for the damaged items which she has photos of to prove their existence and condition and AON think they are doing us a favor, they are not we paid almost R6300 premium for this cover now AON is doing us down,it is really sad that we now have to look at our belongings that have been damaged on daily basis, and AON are taking their time to finalize this claim, this is not rocket science to process this claim.I was promised today I would get a final decision by lunch time tommorow,I really looking forward to taking AON to the OSTI .

So now after Yolandi AON'S claims advisor promised to finalize my claim and give me a call at lunchtime ,she called me at 3pm and now wants to appoint an assessor,I called her manager Yoland Huxtable who was equally rude and spoke even when I was speaking and had a don't care a damn attitude,so AON does what they feel like and does not bother about the frustration they putting a client through...worst insurance ever!

So a week later and my claim is still not finalised and nobody gives me feedback, called Raessa Khan from AON she say they were instructed by AIG not to contact me or intervene they will take the matter from here on,AIG has not contacted me both AON and AIG want ro frustrate clients and cause more stress, what do you want to investigate,I paid a premium to insure my goods in transit,Biddulphs International damaged my goods and have admitted to that, their branch manager was present he took photos I sent photos you have the inventory sheet, now you treat me like a ******** instead of doing your jobs so another week drags on....stay away from AON and AIG you will regret it,I am making calls, sending emails and nobody even responds, sent emails to both ceos no response...do the right thing and stop beating around the bush.No wonder both companies have dismal ratings on Hello Peter.Staff make dishonest statements and commitments and everything gets swept under the carpet.Make a decision if you don't want to settle my claim provide me with a rejection letter!

So AON/AIG now want to settle my claim and are now forcing me to accept their settlement, they want to pay me.out for one speaker R2500 and want to collect this speaker as salvage and want me to use the hifi system with 1 speaker and they refer to a clause regarding sets/pairs which were never even sent to me in the first place, they want to settle me for my dining room table and want me to keep the chairs, how do I replace the table when the table and chairs are one set and I can't buy the table separately???they also assume that I had 6 large luggage bags and want to give me a mere R600 for one of my luggage bags their client Biddulph international damaged, they dis not even take in consideration the recommendation the assessor they appointed recommended...what a pathetic insurance company/broker...don't insure with AON or AIG YOU WILL REGRET IT AND they will frustrate you till you can't take it anymore!!!!
