I have just signed up for gap cover with AON through Sanlam. The amount I was quoted by email was R300 less than the amount debited from my account this month being the first month.
Please do not be fooled by sales staff that quote one amount and then take off another. When I queried the transaction I was told that they were not sure and that they would query this. This was 3 weeks ago. I called 2 weeks ago and was told the matter has been escalated. I called last week and was told that the matter had to be escalated further. I now sit with the dilemma do I cancel the policy completely or do I wait until my account gets debited again incorrectly? Surely this is not legal? why is it also so difficult to find a consultant to speak to? Almost all correspondence occurs by email. Unprofessional and *************...Sanlam and Aon I have been told that you are both reputable institutions....I beg to differ
