Aon doe a terrible job of communication after a claim is put through.
I had a geyser burst this morning. The plumber appointed only switched the geyser off. I then had to chase Aon to find out what is happening with my claim. I am sitting with water damage to my ceiling, wooden floors have lifted and there is damage to a pendant light fitting. Aon only confirmed a policy number after I had called. Then I was pretty much handed over to Santam with the Aon agent then saying they would handle my claim.
They confirmed a plumber to install my geyser but I had to inform them where it would need to be installed. No one has contacted me about the other damages. Aon as a broker is not doing a great job. I as the client had to do the calling and chasing to find out what is happening while I sit with no hot water.
