Aon breaks promise

My car was in a fender-bender. The AON assessor said it needed to be replaced so I went ahead with the claim. The same assessor then changed it to a repair and did not inform me (as this is too time-consuming for him). Aon did not inform me. SO I claimed for no reason as I could have repaired the bumper for less than the excess. The AON liason was Leani. What an utterly *********** individual as she never knew a thing about anything and did not respond to my emails until her team leader was cc'ed and I hellopetered AON. On top of that the panelbeater didnt repair the bumper properly. When I complained then only did the assessor actually check to see what was happening. Due to this the repair took longer than a month and Leani's team leader assured me that I could keep the hire vehicle at no extra charge while their assessor sorted out the panelbeater. Nonetheless Avis charged me for the extra days and when I queried this Leani just sends me an email to say Avis charged for extra days. No invoice, no explanation, no follow up. Good service is just too hard to find in SA and AON epitomises this apathy. I will be changing insurances as soon as I can. Not only was i forced into a claim I didnt need I have been charged for expenses they promised to cover.
