Pathetic customer service

? what an awful experience!

I always go here and really enjoyed the falafels. But the customer treatment I received today was really putrid. I waited in line for about 20 minutes…. The manager, spoke to the lady behind me in Zulu and said that they are now closed… so I didn’t pay any attention, knowing that he can see me and that he acknowledged I would be the last person they would serve.

I waited a few more minutes while the lady ahead of me was served, and when it was my turn … they tell me they are closed. This is such a joke!

The servers, the manager all saw me in line all this time. They respond saying “we thought you were with the lady ahead of you” okay… so just cos she’s an Indian and I’m an Indian you assume we are together. Wow ok. Stereotype aside… when I mentioned I am here alone they could have still served me. But they completely ignored me… so I walked away… knowing that this manager would rather lose a customer instead of just taking 5 minutes to make the falafel knowing that they all stereotyped me and the customer before me….

Absolutely pathetic. A little goes a long way…. 5 minutes saved but you have lost a loyal customer. ?
