The friendliest, most helpful business I have visited in a long time.

I have a 2008 Q7 that broke down and went to a bunch of dealerships/*****erships, that did nothing but break the car further. After a lot of diagnostic testing I came to the conclusion that the high pressure diesel pump was faulty I removed it and drove a hour to get to Amtec.

I was received in a super friendly manner and while the team tested the diesel pump, I was offered coffee, told that if the aircon was too low they can set it. They really treated me like a king.

The owner, Pierre, came and told me that after all the testing the pump was fine. Now seeing as I was 90% sure that the diesel pump was busted, they could have told me that it was busted and I needed a new one. At a cost of about R30 000 at the dealerships and R11 000 by them, I probably would have bought one.

They gave me discount on the normal testing fee, and gave me advice on what the fault could be.

After replacing the fuel pressure regulator (R1000) The car now runs.
