Wrongful Statements

<p>I recently had a procedure done and had to have blood tests. I did not chose the provider as the hospital sends out their preferred lab. Two months later they send me a statement saying the account was rejected by the medical aid so I went ahead being a good citizen and paid the amount. I then proceeded to claim the money back from my gap cover who required all the statements including the medical aid. When I received it to forward it and had a good look and realised that Ampath was in fact paid already be the medical aid, I confronted them and the reply was oh sorry yes we were paid. I was asked to fill out a refund form and told I'd only receive my money back within 7-10 working days which is ridiculous because they want their payment same time and we must wait for ours!!! After speaking to a supervisor she promised I'd receive my money within 24 hours. A week later still no sign of my payment and the supervisor claims ignorance of not receiving the form when being confronted! The worst and most frustrating and *********** company to deal with!!! My gap covet thought I was trying to ***** them when in fact Ampath was *****ing me!!!</p>
