Refusal to do covid test with referral letter

My daughter is going in to have her tonsils removed. I phoned Ampath to find out which labs does COVID testing as the Dr gave an Ampath referral letter. To my surprise there is only 4 labs in Pretoria that does COVID testing which is ridiculous. I get to the one on Jean Avenue this morning at 08:00 to find 22 other people waiting in the queue, I didn't want to wait with a 19 month old baby for that long between people that might potentially have the virus and she is too young to wear a mask. I went back this afternoon, when I got there there were no queue but they REFUSED to do the test because it's not one of the doctor at the practice that requested the test. Keeping in mind it a a requirement from all hospitals to have the test. They were so rude and clearly can treat people the way they way and lose all humanity and blame it on COVID. This is outrageous to be treated like this by so called health care workers! Shame on you
