Refund Charge

<p>I was overcharged by Ampath when I had to go for a blood test. I was posted a cheque for the refund. At no point did I sign an agreement e to receive a cheque if I was overcharged. I paid using my credit card and would expect to receive funds in the same manner back i.e. an electronic transfer. Banks charge to cash the cheque. Why should I pay the fee to cash the cheque for Ampath's error? I have since logged a complaint with them and they came back to say my request was declined. The fee of R50 is minimal so thats not the issue but rather the unfairness and impact to the consumers for their errors. </p>
