On Friday morning on my way to work, I was almost forced off the road twice by the same Ampath driver, driving an Ampath company vehicle FB 43 MD GP. When I hooted to alert the driver to his completely reckless way of driving, he merely stuck his hand up and signaled some hand signs to me.

I then took down the Ampath telephone number and registration number and phoned Ampath to report the incident. Eric Kgaeitsi, the Supervisor who took my call, merely suggested that I stop at the side of the road to sort it out directly with the driver of the vehicle.

I questioned this and asked what would happen the next time this driver drove recklessly and ended up killing someone or injuring one of the children that were walking along the road that we were travelling on. His response was \that would be unfortunate\".

Seriously, this driver should not be allowed on the road, but Ampath have failed to take any responsibility for their drivers' actions."
