Possible contravening the National Credit Act?

<p>I recently received an invoice for R169.10 on reference number KJY04357. &nbsp;This was in lieu of a procedure performed with my wife. &nbsp;At no point did Ampath inform her that she may be liable for the amount, nor what the possible amount will be. &nbsp;Our medical aid subsequently rejected the claim due to the procedure not being covered on the plan we are on. &nbsp;Ampath is now haunting us weekly, blatantly ignoring legal requirements for 90 days credit before action. &nbsp;In addition, I am of the opinion that the National Credit Act is ignored by not informing clients as prescribed of the potential cost, nor obtaining their permission before proceeding with the tests. &nbsp;I am not happy and will refer this matter to the National Credit Regulator.</p>
