Poor communication

I m so confused by this laboratory. My son was admitted last month .to my surprise I haven't received statement from Gems but I hv received statement from ampath informing me that liable for the account. I don't have problem.with that but I don't see any amount paid by medical aid. Wht I saw is the amount of 2386.90 payable within 30days ,starting from 02 April 2024, Which means blood test are done on cash basis not medical aid . Lancet inform the patient about the procedure then wht is liable to me is wht is not paid by medical aid,in future I wll refuse service from this laboratory. I don't understand the procedure as the result of having exact amount liable to me
