Pathetic service and very unprofessional staff

Very unprofessional old lady in the COVID testing container located at Midrand Medical Clinic.

I was sent there by the doctor and when I arrived there container was empty, no one was there. I had tk Check with the centre security officer that was at the parking. He directed me to the Ampath inside lab. He told me the lady might be there. I went there, found about three people in the lab. They continued talking and not even greeting me and checking how they can help. Mind you one of them actually had to open a door for me. No greeting and it was as if no one entered. I greeted them and explained I was sent by the doctor to their container but I found no one. Old lady wearing white protection gear looked at me and responded, not so politely and friendly. She said a person working in the container is coming. She did not even say it was her. I was expecting that she is going to nicely say sorry you did nit find me there, I will come and assist you in a minute. No, she just gave me a very cold face and told me to go to the container.

I did not really have time to mourn about that. Straight I went to the container. She followed me. Again no greeting or apology for inconvenience.

Again very cold face. She just threw a form to complete to me and gave me instruction. Again not so polite. It was like she is forced to help me and she did not want to do it

The way she was looking at me, I knew she was going to make me pay for going inside the lad and report there was no one in the container. She made sure I feel it so bad when she was *****ing me on my nostrils for the test. Even today I still feel pain, I hope she did not damage my nostrils.

I have used Ampath for many years now, especially that one in Midrand Medical Centre. I have never seen someone like this there. I have always been treated with respect and friendly. I always found 1 black gentlemen and a white lady there. Both have always been so good over the years. I think lately also a young lady. Very professional and friendly always.

With this old lady helping with COVID testing, I experienced my worse nightmare. I have lost experienced this some 20 years ago when I used public health facilities. Not the facility where I pay lot of money for Service.

I must say this old lady does not deserve to be servicing people. Maybe he is too old to still be working.
