Pathetic service

Went in with a doctors referral form on Friday 22/01/2016 to Ampath lab at Nu Shifa hospital in Durban, to make an appointment and notify the lab that i require a glucose test done for my 2 year old on Monday 26/01/2016. I was told that they open at 7am and i can be there at that time. NO appointment was necessary. We arrived at about 07h45. I am disgusted with Ampaths service and lack of professionalism. 1)There was nobody to attend to my child except for the receptionist on duty. 2)The procedure to be followed in conducting the test was unknown 3)The lab didnt even know the correct dosage of glucose solution to be given. 4)My 2 year old baby was starving as she had been fasting since around 6pm the previous night whilst the receptionist made numerous calls to get somebody over to attend to us. 5)A needless attempt was made to contact my childs pediatrician when all the relavant info was on the doctors referral form. 6) We were waiting for more then 45min when the receptionist phoned again and i over heard still nobody was on there way to attend to my baby. 7)My wife went next door to LANCET to enquire if the test could be done there and to our relief LANCET handled our request
