Overcharged Rates and Pathetic Account queries department

On 2017/09/09, I was charged an amount of R991.50 for a blood test. Of course this seems logical except on 2017/09/05 I had a couple other blood tests none of which even remotely resembled this price. The cherry on top is the test done on 2017/09/08 (claimed by you guys on 2017/09/09) was a previous test (from my understanding) done as part of all tests on 2017/09/05.

Now, I have been contacting you since last week (via your website) to get some answers as to what this charge is. I contacted the forensics department of Discovery who advised I speak to you and find out what the test done was and why were previous tests done not nearly as much as this one.

In any case, I think HCP's need to come to the plate (due to the fact that they are ******** in the amounts Ampath charges) regarding your medical aid savings i.e. It's not an endless amount of money, it DOES run out.

So what I need from Ampath is the following:

1) A clarification on what the test done was for 2) A clarification as to why this test was done previously and did not cost as much 3) Why your client service is so putrid and why do you have a contact us page when no one monitors it 4) Why do you hire *********** staff to manage your business (if you don't like your job, quit. There are plenty people in SA needing jobs).

This info is paramount because all health related services in SA believe themselves to be indispensable. I have worked with Lancet and can confidently say I will be referring ALL my tests to them going forward.
