Nurse refused patient's request.

My husband went for a Covid test today as he is having surgery on Wednesday. He has severe pain in his nose and is having surgery on his nose and sinuses. He requested a throat swab. The nurse refused. She said they only do nasal swabs as throat swabs are not accurate. This is ridiculous that my husband was caused pain and you refused his request for a throat swab, which by the way, IS accurate. Really disgusted and will not use Ampath again. Other labs listen to patients' requests.
