No accounts sent, handing over accounts!!! *******!!

Horrific - Ampath hands over accounts without any proof they attempted or delivered any form of account. I am responsible for paying my elderly mothers accounts and till date I have never received any statement - nor can you prove I have one. Now im getting threatening sms's from a external 'Debt Collector', claiming to be acting on behalf of ampath! How is it legally possible to hand over a account without proof that you have delivered the account, nor issued a letter of demand signed for! You better be carefull, the CPA and NCR will give you a fine for more than your worth should I report this to them, in any event I received a up to date account today for the first time ever after calling, and i imeditately made the payment via eft, from my standard bank account, and emailed it today 25/04/2023 - Kindly ensure this account is now on zero, and instruct this company not to send me sms's further or action will be taken from my side. Account N***.

Good Morning, an update, I was politely sent an email with 'Successful sent reports' and was advised I will be informed what additional amounts must still be paid. I called yesterday to ask for a bill, and that is the bill I received for the first time ever and that I what I have paid, directly to ampath. A successful sent report is not a read report that can be used as evidence that I have received it. Yet according to the email the account has been handed to external collections for collection, but there is no letter of demand signed for entitling you to demand such fees. Kindly sort this out with urgency otherwise you will leave me with no option but to report this ********* accounting behavior to the National Credit Regulator. You don't even have any account applications filled out or signed for by anyone of us, yet your accounts department thinks they are a step ahead, providing me with a successful sent report, that is absolutely no evidence in a court of law that it has been read or received. Thank you.
