Medical Negligence at Ampath on my 4 year old son!

I'm highly upset with what happened to my four year old son yesterday at Nelspruit Mediclinic's Ampath. He was terrified of the needle prior to being sent to the lab for a blood sample to be taken. They used trainees on him to draw one blood sample. The trainees tried three times on his left arm and could not get it right, hurting and traumatizing him in the process. It was so bad that they ended up bending the needle in his arm, and blood was squirting out. They also then tried on the third time and no blood came out. My child was in a state as you can imagine. The main nurse eventually intervened after hearing the commotion and drew blood successfully from his right arm on her first attempt with no issues. They apologized to my wife after all had happened and said that they were using trainees on my 4 year old. You DO NOT USE A TRAINEE ON A 4 YEAR OLD!!! My child is severely traumatized with what happened yesterday, and to be honest we are as well, . This level of service is completely unacceptable!! I would like this matter to be investigated and I would like feedback on this please. My child is going to fear needles for the rest of his life now!
