Horrible Ampath

Today my doctor sent me for blood tests at the Rustenburg Ampath in Heysteck street. Upon arrival at the door, the sanitizer was not working and there was no one to help me at the door. A ****y you man eventually came to help me and directed me to take a seat.

The receptionist eventually called my number and I was told to go through to have my blood tested.

I followed the nurse who then turned around and told me she had not called me, she is looking for someone to assist. I rep**** that I was told to come through. She then went on to tell me that my deaf daughter of 11 years old was not permitted to enter the room with me, and that she was to sit alone outside in the waiting area. Of course I then said that it was unacceptable as she cannot communicate so I refuse to leave her alone.

When she then told the nurse that my child would be coming into the room with me the nurse rolled her eyes but was startled when she noticed I had seen her rolling her eyes at me. I asked her if she had a problem with my deaf child coming I with me. Of course not she rep****

What mother in her right mind would in any case leave her child alone in the waiting area of any doctor or dentist or a pathologist?

Never ever will I go back to that Ampath. Worst treatment I have ever had at any pathologist. Terrible
