Disgusting treatment by Ampath!!!

Today I received an sms stating I owed money to Ampath. I have now been handed over. I call the company and 3 agents later, I eventually speak to an agent called Latoya who advises me that the statement is not updated on their side. The amount indicated is for R262.02. I have absolutely no idea what this is for and I resent the fact that I am not sent a statement by Ampath, but merely told to pay.Pay for what? Is it not ethical and professional to sent a statement bearing in mind my account was submitted to the medical aid. This is disgusting account management to just advise a client to pay!!!! Pay for what????

So unprofessional of Ampath, In future, I will request that my Dr uses Lancet. They are far more professional and do not treat us like *********.
