Bad debt collection by Ampath laborities ,punishing their clients by refering small debts to collectors.

I am a regular user for ampath but today i have learned a lesson.I was sick when ampath called me to pay a shortfall of 351,80 which was supposed to be paid by the medical aid .Now the account have been handed to debt collectors and i m going to pay close to a thousand because i was sick and coulnt answer their call .The admin costs of handling this debt is more than what i owe for sure ,But I m officially going to move out of this Service provider .i will ask my doctor not to send me to them and doctors should also please give us a choice and not send us where they want to ,So pls watchout,100 debts can be a thousand rand!
