Ampath trying to rob me and make gains from their incompetency

I gave birth last year Dec & in March Ampath accounts reached out to me about an overdue on baby's account for bloods done in Dec 25. I then gave them the babys medical aid details to claim from, they refused and said the first 3 days the baby is covered under my medical aid, they took the bloods on day 5 or 6. I explained that I followed the same route with Pathcare, hospital and Lancet and Medical aid paid as they covered her from the day of birth. I then followed up on weekly and monthly basis. I was told that they could only claim from my account and refused to claim from the baby's medical aid. Around May 26 they then changed the tune to say they were awaiting medical aid to pay which they later came back in August to say medical aid didnt pay. By this time the account was now handed over to collections with more R1000 interest. When I confronted them that the baby's medical aid had not received any claims from Ampath they then said they claimed from the medical aid without success & in August the medical aid rejected the claim because it 200+ days old and their reason was that the medical aid kept on rejecting the claim on prior months until the last reject in August 26 where the reason given was its now 200 days late. I wrote an email as the collections company was harrassing me & still is. I asked them to provide records so I can take the medical aid to task, Ampath only provided on *** without any attachment that they on reached out to the Medical aid in August 26. So why should I be penalised for their incompetency
