Ampath - rude and ridiculous

I went to Kloof ER December 2024. (first time I used my medical aid in 2024). I was very disappointed when I received statements from ER doctor, the hospital the x-ray div and Ampath after my visit. The reason why my medical aid only paid about a 10th of these costs is because of the ridiculous fees these service providers charge. I contacted Ampath to make a payment arrangement and chose the call me back option. They never called me back. I started making payments to all these medical service providers. I have now received a threat from Ampath indicating that I will be handed over in a week if I do not settle their account. These pathologists make millions a day but that is not the point I want to make. So I call them and hang on for a long period of time. To no surprise I got through to a rude person in accounts. I told her my side and that I have already started making payments and that I would like to continue. I was then told they are not a financial institution and they only allow 3 months for pay off. Really? All the other medical services providers are happy to accept down payments! Ampath you are the scale that does not weigh correctly....
