Ampath Labs sending Letters of Demand without ever sending an Invoice.

On Friday I received an sms from Ampath Labs which was basically a Letter of Demand for a procedure I had on the 14th March and which the medical aid had short payed. What really annoyed me and what prompted this review is that although I received a letter of demand I had never received an invoice. When I phoned them this morning they advised that they had sent the invoice to the medical aid and imp**** why should they send an invoice to me. I pointed out to them that I am the customer and not the medical aid and that is why I need the invoice. They did not seem to think it at all wrong that they send a letter of demand without first sending an invoice. Unfortunately I have had many dealings with Ampath and on every occasion I have had problems with their accounts. The situation is so bad that I have asked most Doctors to only use Lancet Labs as Ampath has such a rude manner with their invoicing.

Unfortunately this surgeon did not know about my problems with Ampath and so again the problem..
