Ampath is a disgrace

I took my 8 year old daughter to sunninghill hospital ampath lab for tests. A very very scared and traumatised little girl.

After handing the form to the receptionist he went to sit with a sister at a different computer. For 15 MINS!!!! While my very scared daughter just got more and more upset and scared.

The guy then handed me a quote, quite rudely and said your medical aid is depleted and you need to pay or we will not draw the blood.

This is unacceptable, unproffesional and *********. You caused unnecessary trauma and suffering to a already traumatised child!!!

I have no issue to pay buy help the patient first. Especially when you see its a child that is already terrified.

I did pay and yet i have to wait 7 days for an invoice. How on earth can you justify that! I as the customer have to pay immediately but i have to wait for an invoice.

The service from ampath is an absolute disgrace
