Account settlement adjustment for cash

I have had blood test done for my wife and was making attempt to settle soon after test done. Prashalin assured me that he will get back to me a month ago when the account is updated. I now get a statement for an amount more than what I was paying for cash. I requested if they can adjust this for immediate settlement and the reply was no.
