3% discount offered on outstanding account - Thank you NOT!!

Thanks Ampath (and not in a good way). After receiving a statement for blood tests that I needed to have done, and knowing my medical aid savings are depleted, I sent a mail to Ampath asking for a discount on this account. I am liable for this account and more than willing to pay it, just wanted to know if I can get a discount as I will be paying it cash. 2 e-mails later to follow up on my request and 5 days since my initial request, I finally got an answer. A whopping R52.14 discount on original statement (3% ). A big hospital group offered me a discount of 25% when I requested same for an account needing to be paid, and I gladly paid it. But a 3% discount? I've paid Ampath the full amount, I'm sure you need the R52.14 discount you offered more than I do.
