Extremely Disappointing Experience with AMC – Defective Premium Cookware
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with AMC. I purchased cookware during the December/January “Double the Savings, Double the Joy” promotion and paid via lay-by between January and March. My order was delivered on 31 March, but upon opening the (undamaged) boxes, I found several items with dents, scratches, and even signs of rust. This is completely unacceptable for a premium brand like AMC. I immediately reported the issue to my consultant, Jay, who inspected the items and agreed they were defective. While I commend Jay for her professionalism and ongoing efforts to assist, the overall process with AMC has been frustrating and exhausting. Over the past three months, I have had to deal with multiple collections, deliveries, inspections, and exchanges—only to repeatedly receive defective cookware again. To make matters worse, I was informed by Kelly Parker (Customer Service and Distribution Manager) that dents on one of the lids were due to the manufacturing process and that I should accept it as-is. As a customer who invested significantly in a premium product, I find this response unacceptable. What was meant to be an investment in quality cookware has turned into a stressful and time-consuming ordeal. After months of unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue, I am still without a proper, defect-free set. I expect a definitive resolution. Customers should not be expected to accept visibly defective products—especially at this price point. Would not recommend based on this experience.
